Review your card and renewal path

Complete the official renewal

  1. Follow TSA’s current online or in-person renewal instructions for your situation.
  2. Provide the information and documentation TSA requests; do not send sensitive identity records through ordinary email.
  3. Pay the applicable TSA fee through the official process when required.
  4. Keep your confirmation and follow TSA’s instructions for any follow-up or pickup step.

Keep your records current

  1. Keep your existing TWIC available until TSA instructs you otherwise.
  2. When the renewed card is issued, update the expiration date and document images in Vessel Masters.
  3. Review company or union requirements separately; they may require current credential information before work is assigned.

Important

Vessel Masters does not issue, renew, or determine eligibility for a TWIC. TSA’s current guidance controls. Use this page as an organizing aid, then complete renewal directly through TSA.
